COLLABORATION
Professional singers and instrumentalists work with collaborative pianists constantly. Therefore, it is important to start collaborative training early. Below are two studio accompanists who I have come to know and trust through performance and education.
MONICA DALY
Monica is a collaborative pianist currently earning a Graduate Performance Diploma in Vocal Accompanying at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. She has a Bachelors in Piano Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Collaborative Piano from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA. As an opera pianist and coach, she has performed in Bernstein’s MASS, Puccini’s Il Trittico, and Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel. Monica has several years of experience teaching piano in group classes and individual lessons at Keys for Kids in Lexington, MA. She is an enthusiastic, thoughtful, and kind teacher and musician that loves exploring music with her students and collaborators in a fun way, while ensuring they receive a comprehensive education.
